Dance
Classes
offered by the PDC are structured to:
1. Introduce the origins of the dance taught.
2. Introduce codified movements of various folk dance styles and
genres.
3. Teach rhythm and coordination through the musicality and performativity
aspects of the dances.
4. Develop poise and body coordination through basic exercises
taught in the dance classes.
5. Develop confidence gained from public performances.
